ETG's extensive network in Mozambique and Senegal, major peanut origination countries, afforded the group the opportunity to diversify into trading of peanuts and peanut oil. We have built a robust distribution network for Peanuts, Peanut oil & related products in China and South East Asia.


ETG trades in all the varieties of pulses (raw and processed pulses) including:

  • Pigeon peas (Toor), Split pigeon peas (Toor Dal).
  • Green mung beans, Split mung beans without husk (Mung Dal), Split mung beans with husk (Mung Chilka Dal), Mung sortex polished.
  • Desi chana (Yellow Gram), Split desi chana (Chana Dal), Desi chana kibble (Broken chana dal), Desi sortex chana.
  • Red lentils (Masoor), Split red lentils (Masoor Dal), Red lentils football (Masoor Gota).
  • Green Lentils, Split green lentils (Yellow Masoor Dal).
  • Black mapte (Urad), Split Black mapte without husk (Urad dal), Split Black mapte with husk (Urad whole).
  • Yellow peas, Green peas, Split Yellow peas (Muter dal), White Chick peas (Kabuli), Split White Chick peas.
  • Beans, Red Kidney beans, White Kidney beans, Black eyed beans, Black beans and their processed derivatives.

The Group has significant presence in all key pulses production region/countries such as Africa, Canada, Australia, Africa, China, CIS region, South East Asia including India, Myanmar and Bangladesh.

ETG procures and distributes approximately 70% of Africa’s pulse production, making it largest exported commodity from these countries for ETG Group. Within Africa and Asia, close to 80% of our procurement is from farm gate, greatly benefitting our rural communities.

We extensively participate in value addition of these protein rich commodities and are the world’s largest processor for specialized pulses. More than 50% of our volumes are processed at our plants in India, UAE, Ethiopia, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Australia Canada.


ETG is the world leader, the most trusted name and preferred partner in the sesame trade. We offer high quality hulled, edible grade and natural sesame seeds and introduced sesame paste to our basket of produce.

All African origination takes place at farm gate level. ETG’s sesame seed volume is sourced from Ethiopia, Tanzania, Mozambique, Uganda, Nigeria, Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso, Kenya, India, Senegal, Cote d’Ivoire, China, Pakistan, and Somalia. To compliment our trading, we invested in state of the art de-hulling plants in Mozambique and in a sesame processing facility in China.
