Saskatchewan, Canada: ETG is pleased to announce that they have successfully acquired key assets from former pulse processing company Ilta Grain Inc. The assets include cleaning and splitting facilities in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, as well as cleaning plants in Cut Knife and Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
Commenting on the transaction, Rav Kapoor, ETG Canada’s Chief Executive Officer, said "ETG is excited about expanding and further strengthening its processing capabilities to keep up with the ever-increasing demand for pulses and other specialty crops". Mr. Kapoor also commented "This expansion will further solidify ETG’s position as a global leader in the value-add processing and supply chain for specialty crops". Mr. Kapoor emphasized the key roles that farmers and local entities play in the creation of value throughout the international supply chain. Building on ETG's vision to strengthen local communities worldwide, this endeavor will create hundreds of new job opportunities directly and indirectly through their employees and stakeholders.
