Sustainability is built into how Nusrico operates across its value chains. Our focus is on strengthening farmer livelihoods, improving environmental practices, and ensuring responsible sourcing from origin to customer.

Through our partnership with Beyond Beans we support targeted initiatives in cocoa and cashew communities, including programmes that address child labour, promote climate smart agroforestry, and advance community development. These efforts also include practical solutions such as village savings and loan associations and innovative conservation models like Payment for Ecosystem Services, helping to improve incomes while protecting natural resources.

Rainforest Alliance:
ETG was the first company globally to develop and launch Rainforest Alliance Certified cashew nuts. This milestone reflects a clear commitment to responsible sourcing, sound environmental practices, and improving livelihoods across farming communities.

Sustainable Nuts Initiative:
Active participation in the Sustainable Nuts Initiative (SNI) brings collaboration with industry stakeholders to advance traceability, transparency, and continuous improvement across the nut sector. The focus remains on strengthening sustainable and resilient value chains.

Chocolate Scorecard:

The 2025 Chocolate Scorecard places ETG | Beyond Beans 7th out of 39 companies assessed, up from 13th in the prior year. The business is recognised as the highest-scoring pure trader, positioning it among the leading participants in the assessment. A green score was achieved in Traceability & Child Labour, supported by consistent yellow ratings across all other categories. These results demonstrate steady progress across our sustainability priorities within the cocoa value chain.
