Nusrico has been unveiled as the new identity for ETG’s established food and food ingredients business, formerly known as Nutrisco. The rebrand reflects the continued evolution of the business and its growing presence across global agricultural and food value chains.
Built over decades through direct engagement with farming communities, investments in processing infrastructure and long-standing international trade relationships, the business has expanded into a diversified platform spanning cocoa, cashew, sesame, rice, nuts and value-added food ingredients.
Nusrico brings together ETG’s integrated sourcing, processing and distribution operations under a refreshed identity that reflects both the heritage of the business and its future direction within global food markets.
Cocoa
Nusrico has established a strong presence across key cocoa-producing regions, with integrated sourcing operations in major West African origins as well as growing participation in South America. The business supplies both conventional and sustainable cocoa to international customers and continues to invest in traceability, responsible sourcing and farmer support programmes. As a signatory to the Cocoa and Forests Initiative, the business remains focused on sustainable production and improved farmer livelihoods.

Cashew
Cashew has been one of the defining growth areas within the business. What began through procurement operations in Tanzania and Mozambique developed into one of the world’s leading raw cashew platforms. Investments in sourcing networks, processing facilities and local infrastructure have strengthened Nusrico’s position across the cashew value chain, supplying customers across global food and ingredient markets.
Sesame
Nusrico’s sesame business has grown through investments in procurement, cleaning, processing and export capabilities across major African sourcing origins. The business supplies natural and hulled sesame seeds to international markets, serving a broad customer base within the bakery, confectionery, food manufacturing and ingredient sectors.
Rice
Rice remains an important part of the portfolio, supported by established sourcing and trading operations connecting producing regions with global consumer markets. Through investments in procurement networks, logistics, and distribution, the business has strengthened access to rice across key markets in Africa and Asia, while supporting food security and reliable supply chains. The desk’s most recent investment includes the construction of a state-of-the-art rice processing facility in West Africa, aimed at enhancing food security and creating local employment.
Edible Nuts
Alongside cashew, Nusrico has developed a broader edible nuts portfolio serving global food manufacturers, ingredient companies and consumer markets. The business supports sourcing, processing and distribution across multiple origins, supplying products aligned with growing global demand for healthy and plant-based food categories.
Diversified Ventures
Diversified Ventures
Nusrico also includes a number of diversified and value-added businesses that strengthen its presence within consumer foods, food ingredients and agricultural solutions. These include EAT Anytime, focused on healthier snacking and nutrition products, Racionero, operating within the specialty food ingredients and culinary space, and Agri Armour, which focuses on post-harvest crop protection solutions designed to reduce storage and transportation losses, improve product quality and support more resilient agricultural supply chains.
These ventures support Nusrico’s broader strategy of building a diversified and globally connected food and food ingredients platform.
Sustainability and Beyond Beans
Sustainability continues to form an important part of Nusrico’s long-term approach. Through its partnership with Beyond Beans, the business supports programmes focused on farmer livelihoods, regenerative agriculture, traceability and community development across agricultural supply chains. These initiatives aim to improve productivity, strengthen resilience within farming communities and support more sustainable agricultural practices across sourcing regions.
As Nutrisco transitions into Nusrico, the new identity reflects both the heritage of the business and its future direction. Built on decades of agricultural experience and established partnerships across global markets, Nusrico enters this new chapter with a continued focus on quality, responsible sourcing and long-term growth across the food and food ingredients sector.
